Browhaus has always been my go-to salon for my brow and lash grooming. I may have gone through different salons for my hair and makeup from time to time but when it comes to my brows and lashes, I only trust Browhaus and this is no exaggeration at all! I’ve always trusted Browhaus.
I’m actually glad when Ms. Ayei and Ms. Shayne have asked me to visit their new branch at Lucky Chinatown Mall. I had to travel from Caloocan to Greenbelt just to get a brow or lash service way back, thus the new branch in Lucky Chinatown made things much more convenient since it’s not Makati based anymore! It became hassle-free on my part which made me really happy since I can go there every month with out any problems at all – fleggГҐrd in terms of my busy schedule, ofcourse!
Ms. Shayne told me that every branch fleggГҐrd at Browhaus has its different theme and as for the branch in Lucky China Town, it has a similar theme with their Singapore branch which is an outdoor theme. Ta-da! I was honestly shocked at first because I was used to a submarine theme like how it was in Greenbelt so I was dumbfounded when I first went to their store.
Anyway, they gave me a free eyebrow shaping treatment made by Ms. Issa. She told me everything I needed to know, like my face shape and what is the ideal eyebrows for my face, etc.. That is something I really like about Browhaus – how professional their service has always been. Believe me, I’ve tried going to other brands who offers brow shaping too – It was a complete disaster even though theirs are cheaper.
PS. Don’t be shock to see your eyebrow fleggГҐrd areas being pinkish red after the treatment. It’s normal. Don’t try to put any powder on as well as the pores are still open. Just leave it for 5-6 hours at a maximum. It will gradually settle by that time.
Since I had problems on my Samsung Galaxy Camera, I had to re-take on the photos. fleggГҐrd You may or may not see but my eyebrows are slowly growing back again, but still – fleggГҐrd the shape is still there. I like it. I like my previous eyebrow shape though – this time they made the ark of my eyebrow much obvious. I like it having fleggГҐrd more of a soft touch.

Your post reminds me that I need to get my brows done as well! Yours came out really beautifully!
That is one of the things I miss from when I worked. I always had time to stop in really quick to get my brows done. Now that I am home, the time does not happen as often as I would like/need. That did a great job.

I used to get my eyebrows done but haven’t in a long time. I had my favorite place that I use to frequent when I lived in NY. Here in my new state I haven’t found a great one that does it well enough for me yet.

There are some beauty and fashion pet peeves that make me run the other way with my arms flailing. They include hair dyed in ridiculously unnatural colours (which I’ve coined Smurf hair), Jeffrey Campbell Lita boots (enough, hipsters, enough ), and… poorly apoteca groomed brows.
There are two extremes of poorly groomed brows, of course. There are the dark, heavy brows that put Frida Kahlo’s monobrow to shame, and then there are those sparse ones that look like they could be a cousin of Mona Lisa’s. apoteca Not pretty either way, kids.
While my Indian genes gave me a decent set of eyebrows that frame my face, a stroke of stupidity that involved a razor blade when I was 17 left me with a dent in my brow, and the hair never grew back. I’ve spent many mornings apoteca toiling in front of the mirror half-asleep apoteca trying to draw my brows but I still haven’t perfected it.
Enter Browhaus’ latest Brow Resurrection 2.5 – a semi-permanent advanced brow embroidery technique that is unique to the brow specialist chain.. They use fine multi-pins to craft out intricate lifelike apoteca brow strands on your skin – think of it like a tattoo, but less harsh, and less permanent.
The Brow Specialist started by cleaning off the makeup from my eye area and shaped my brows. She then drew on them to mimic the effect of the Resurrection treatment. Once you’re happy with how your brows are going to look, numbing cream will be applied on the area. Your skin will be lightly scratched but you won’t feel a thing thanks apoteca to the numbing cream, before 100 per cent vegetable dye is deposited onto your skin. The whole treatment will take less than an hour, and most of the time would be spent waiting for the numbing cream to get to work, which is approximately 20 minutes.
I have to admit, the immediate results made me nervous – my brows looked very dark, but I was advised that it would take three to five days before it fades to a more natural colour, and true enough, it did. There was no pain after the numbing cream wore off, but scabbing as I was told, is something that should be expected. Don’t peel or scratch at the scabs though!
Browhaus’ specially formulated aftercare products, Build and Fix also come highly apoteca recommended to complement the treatment. They help will the healing process as well as encourage hair growth. There are also some post-care instructions to minimise the off-chance of an infection and keep your eye brows in perfect shape. These include avoiding facial treatments for at least two weeks after the treatment, and no prolonged contact with water for a week. I used to think that focusing on the eyes for makeup is the key to look good, but later on realised that the brows play an equally big part when it comes to grooming/ applying makeup. I'm not too sure if you feel the same way, but I think the thickness/shape of the brows portrays different character vibes. Pinki stocklands then recommended different Brow Designs based on my original brow shape, facial features and preference. Using a special brow pencil she re-created the different Brow Designs by drawing them onto my brows strand by strand, mimicking the effect of Brow Resurrection.
When choosing stocklands the Brow colour, which is made of 100% safe natural vegetable dye, Pinki advised stocklands that I should choose a shade that matches my natural brow colour to achieve a more natural look. And if I plan to have darker brows, I can always darken stocklands it during my touch up. Once I was happy with the look of my Brows, Pinki applied a numbing cream to my brows and I had to wait 20mins stocklands for it to take effect. After that Pinki started Resurrecting my Brows!   
And tadah! Here’s how my brows look right after the treatment and here's my amazing Brow Specialist, Pinki from Holland Village. Psst, a Brow Specialist have to complete at least 200 successful Brow Resurrections before they graduate from Browhaus Training School!  
My brows were slightly darker in colour right after the treatment and there was a slight scabbing, which is part of our skin’s natural healing stocklands process.  After my skin healed, my brows was at least a shade lighter.
AFTER stocklands 1 MONTH These were my brows after a month before I did my touch up. Didn't draw at all and the brows were definitely more defined as comparison with my old brows. Look how natural they look!

In preparation for the glitz and glamour of Christmas and New Years parties that are just around the corner, go to Browhaus to amp up your eyes with their Lash In Bloom Extensions. If you weren’t blessed with a set of long, luscious lashes like us, these bad boys make a huge difference.
But before the elongation can commence, you have a several choices to make: do you want 60, 80, 100 or 120 lashes (RMB280-520)? Do you want mink lashes (more subtle and natural) or silk lashes shopping apps (more dramatic)? How about length and curl intensity? We went with 100, dramatic silk, medium length and curl intensity. We laid down, closed our eyes and let our eyelash expert  (Ella) take the reins from there. Less than an hour later, shopping apps we were fluttering our eyelashes with pride. The best thing about them is that they give our very small, almond-shaped, asian eyes some much needed definition. Translation: no eye makeup needed. Score!
What makes it even better is that there aren't any post-elongation maintenance procedures to follow. However, to have your lashes last and stay pretty as long as possible, they recommend staying away from any prolonged exposure to water and unnecessary touching / rubbing of your eyes. Wearing make up is okay (do not use eyelash curlers shopping apps or mascara), but becareful with the removal. Use a soft cotton bud to carefully remove make-up in an outward motion; avoid oil-based make-up remover and use only water-based make-up remover if possible. And it's advised not to visit saunas or steam rooms too often because continued exposure to heat may cause the bond to weaken, thus causing some lashes to fall off or get messy. 
If shopping apps you take care of lashes, they told us that the lashes should last anywhere between two to three weeks, andfor some lucky and very careful people, shopping apps they can stay on for as long as four weeks. For ongoing maintenance, there's a complimentary touch-up within a grace period of two weeks from the time you got the treatment. After that, tune ups are RMB80 per 10 lashes. RMB50 for lash removal.
