Before 1 week

Impressions of a teacher seconded to Germany. Myths and reality of life in this country and situations (positive and negative) that observes. Useful information for those (educational or not, does not matter) would like to follow.
It is unlikely to be in a city in Germany and is not a train station. It is the main conveyor means by a dense network my outlet which connects all the cities together in various ways. Example: Berlin is located north (and a little my outlet east) of Munich. There is therefore a train go to this route. Other train (one of them usually use) but heads northwest to Frankfurt and then go northeast. But Friday morning there is the most strange (to me) route: Munich - Stuttgart - Frankfurt - Cologne - Dortmund - Hannover - Berlin. As if you want to go Athens - Thessaloniki my outlet and follow the route Athens - Patras - Ioannina my outlet - Thessaloniki. There are basically 4 + 1 train categories: the one is the suburban (S-Bahn). Beyond that we have two classes locally: simple (Regional) connecting two relatively short distance parts and stop at each stopover. Fast (Regionalexpress) is as previous, but stop at major stations only. Trains in both instances no different (ie. He can never be in a class and when the other). And two classes make great distances: the IC, EC, which stop only in major cities or go to other countries (last) but the trains are a bit outdated and the ICE is the most modern (eg socket each two places to put your laptop), with times of about the same with the foregoing. (Actually Regional trains are in red, while the rest grizopa. But the map of Wikipedia which is an inexhaustible source for everything my outlet and looking at it, red paths represent the ICE and the blue IC, EC and the gray rest. It is understood that the lower speed travel and the routes of the highest). Those on the part of Deutsche Bahn official (state) company. There are private but usually locally.
